Philip Olivier is set to appear in a new LGBT short film Just Me, and based on the first official preview images, it’s safe to say we’ll be adding it to our one to watch list.

The former Brookside actor, 38, whose turn as a man coming to terms with his sexuality in 2006’s Hollyoaks: In the City sparked many a gay awakening, will once again play a sexually conflicted character in the new film from Mickey Jones.

Philip plays Scott, a man who is due to be married until a stranger from his past (played by Boys on Fillm’s Carl Loughlin) turns up on his doorstep. Loughlin who plays a policeman with a secret life named Connor whose life is changed by the encounter.

The first preview pictures from Just Me – which is “coming out of the closet soon” have been shared over on the film’s official Facebook page, and they’re certainly piquing our interest…
