It might only be the third week of January, but we’re already looking forward to summer with the first major Pride announcement of the year.

Yep, Brighton Pride have revealed that the legendary Nile Rodgers and Chic will headline this year’s LoveBN1 Fest on Sunday 5 August.

The brains behind Pharrell Williams’ ‘Get Lucky,’ Diana Ross’s ‘I’m Coming Out,’ David Bowie’s ‘Lets Dance’ is set to have Preston Park grooving at the brand new event the day after the main Pride parade and festival on Saturday 4 August.

Helping raise extra funds for the Pride Social Impact Fund, LoveBN1 Fest will see performances from Rodgers and a whole host of other acts still to be announced, and they’ll be cabaret, theatre, and family tents with plenty more besides.

Tickets are available for Brighton Pride now, with the headliner for Saturday’s Pride festival set to be announced on Tuesday morning (23 January). Just a head’s up, a little birdy tells us it’s one you won’t want to miss…
