Get your tickets in now, because Grace Jones and Jessie J are set to wow crowds at Brighton Pride’s LoveBN1Fest this summer.

The pop divas are sure to bring the lewks, drama, and possibly hula hoops, as they headline this year’s Pride Sunday In The Park on Sunday 4 August a day after Brighton’s main Pride parade.

70-year-old Jones memorably performed while dancing in a hula hoop during The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee concert in 2012, and the legendary singer, model and LGBT icon is sure to give revellers a Sunday spectacle on the Sussex south coast.

A star of New York’s Studio 54-centered disco scene in the ’70s, the famously outspoken Jones scored UK hits throughout the ’80s with tracks like ‘Pull Up to the Bumper’, ‘Private Life’, and ‘Slave to the Rhythm’.

She’ll be joined on the LoveBN1Fest bill by former The Voice judge Jessie J, who, with nine UK Top 10 singles including ‘Do It Like a Dude’, ‘Price Tag’ and ‘Domino’, is sure to deliver set of sure-fire bangers.

Coming the day after Saturday’s main Pride parade and festival – the headliner for which is set to be announced tomorrow (5 February) – LoveBN1Fest features main stage artists,  family-friendly entertainment, performance artists, cabaret, dance tents, and a street food village.

The day festival will aim ot raise extra funds to deliver positive social impact back to the local community through the Social Impact Fund.

Tickets are available for Brighton Pride now here, and considering last year’s Saturday headliner turned out to be Britney Spears (this year’s will be announced tomorrow morning) we seriously recommend getting yours in the bag now…
