Gay bar staff recreate ‘All Stars 3’s iconic ‘Kitty Girl’ performance on Canal Street

Honestly, who wouldn't want to be gay...

By Will Stroude

As if All Stars 3’s ‘Kitty Girl’ challenge wasn’t iconic enough, the staff at one Manchester gay bar have offered their own hilarious version of the most iconic performance in Drag Race herstory (sorry ‘Read U Wrote U’).

Drag queens and bar staff from Canal Street’s Bar Pop painstakingly recreated the lipsync performed by Kennedy Davenport, Shangela, Bebe Zahara Benet and Trixie Mattel in the show’s grand finale before sharing the results online.

Filmed in the heart of the city’s gay village, all recreation includes all your favourite moments, from exact choreography, lines like ‘feel your puss down deep in your soul’ and Bebe’s unforgettable lift.

Their efforts even got Mama Ru’s seal of approval on Twitter on Thursday afternoon.

Well Ru, if you’re not gonna give us a Drag Race UK we’re gonna have to recreate it ourselves, right?
