Everything you need to know about RuPaul’s DragCon UK

We’re already rejoicing that RuPaul’s Drag Race UK is coming back for season two, but this weekend is the perfect time to revel in that victory.

With the series now a UK TV staple – this siren call has brought the full powerhouse of the brand to the UK, as RuPaul’s DragCon UK holds its inaugural event.

Fans of the show will be flocking the Kensington Olympia, along with the queens here at Attitude, for a weekend full of tea. 

Our drag columnist and Scotland’s Drag Queen supreme, Guillotina Munter will be there and bringing you all the action with an Attitude Magazine Instagram Story take over. 

Guillotina will be joining the crowds to see RuPaul, Michelle Visage, the Brit Crew and all the Queens they know and love from both the UK and US editions. 

What Queens are attending RuPaul’s DragCon London?

The entire cast of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK will be in attendance across the weekend – including the newly crowned winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK The Vivienne and runners-up Divina De Campo and Baga Chipz. 

US stars such as Bob the Drag Queen, Bianca Del Rio, Monet X Change, Trinity “The Tuck” will be death dropping to centre stage and celebrity fans of the show such as Vick Hope, Stephen Bailey and Danny Franzese of Mean Girls fame will also be in attendance. 

To mark the official opening of DragCon UK on Saturday 18th January, RuPaul and his Queens will cut the ribbon ahead of one of the must-see events of the convention, The Queen’s Walk, which sees the queens make their entrance and strut down the famous pink carpet. 

The two-day convention has panels, meet the queens and a huge drag culture fair. Follow Guillotina on her Instagram now (@ladymunter), but the only place you need to be (if you aren’t going to the convention itself) is the Attitude Magazine Instagram story (@AttitudeMag) on Saturday 18 January 2020, for all the tea.
