Chris Mears is looking ‘Ruf’ in this scorching new shoot – PICS

When the winner of Winq magazine’s Sport Award was photographed for our sister publication’s Winter issue – currently on sale – he was adorned with denim in the California desert and channelling James Dean. It was a step-change from the normal Chris Mears attire of tiny swimwear and not much else. He looked a million dollars, and felt the same way, having just scooped gold in Rio.
But the shoot was actually one of two produced by the creative gurus at Rufskin (Hubert-Pierre Pouches and Douglas Coats) at Winq’s behest. The second, unseen until now, finds Chris Mears in more traditional states of undress, and in skin–tight sportswear from the R–sport and R–swim ranges. We know, we know.
Shot on location in the extraordinary daylight studio at Rufskin’s own ‘Rufhouse’ near Palm Springs, this is a hot shoot in every sense. But make your own mind up…
