RuPaul’s Drag Race UK S5: Heartstopper’s Yasmin Finney among guest judges
The judging panel is going to be glittering with stars.
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK is back again and we’ve already got a list of some of the guest judges and stars appearing in the new season. Among them are Heartstopper‘s Yasmin Finney, comedian Aisling Bea, and music icon Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
While we await exact details as to when RuPaul’s Drag Race UK will be back on our screens, we’re being fed with some details of what we can expect.
RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Graham Norton, and Alan Carr will also be joined by other famous faces.
Pop star and actor, Alexandra Burke; actor, Cush Jumbo; Designer, Daphne Guinness; comedian, Joel Dommett; supermodel, Kristen McMenamy, and actress Suranne Jones will also guest judge.
Yasmin Finney said “it feels out of this world!” to be on Drag Race UK. “I felt like I was on another planet during filming… Planet Joy!” she added.
Bea commented “Needless to say they did not have to DRAG me back to be a judge. This season the contestants all blew me away with their incredible talent. What an honour to be back!”
And more stars will make an appearance throughout the series.
Vogue royalty Edward Enninful OBE will be visiting the Drag Race UK werkroom to advise the queens on the design challenge.
Carol Vorderman and Alexandra Burke will be offering their best Blanket Blanks in Drag Race mainstay Snatch Game.
Strictly Come Dancing‘s Karen Hauer will offer her choreo skills for this year’s Rusical challenge. Finally, Claudimar Neto will be guiding the finalists through the choreography in the all-dancing number for the Finale Eleganza Extravaganza.
We’ve yet to hear official confirmation as to the cast of Drag Race UK season five. However, we’re sure we’ll be getting more information on that very soon…
