Ricky Martin releases new EP, ReVivo, reimagining some of his greatest work from over three decades
The six-track project follows previously released reworks, including his 1998 hit ‘Vuelve’

Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Ricky Martin has released a new EP titled ReVivo, reimagining some of his best-known songs with a new generation of Latin artists.
The project brings together Martin with others from the Latin music world, including Mexican singer Carín León, Mexican cumbia group Los Ángeles Azules, Argentine pop star TINI, Brazilian singer Luan Santana, Mexican-American group Grupo Frontera and Mexican singer Christian Nodal.
The six-track project has been teased through a series of reworked singles throughout the year, including a new version of his 1998 hit ‘Vuelve’, featuring TINI and Los Ángeles Azules.
Ricky Martin and Kany García sing ‘Asignatura Pendiente’
The EP’s lead track, ‘Asignatura Pendiente’, is a new version of the song from Martin’s 2003 studio album Almas del Silencio. This time, he is joined by Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Kany García, known for Spanish-language hits, such as, ‘Hoy Ya Me Voy’, ‘Confieso’ and ‘Te Lo Agradezco’.
‘Asignatura Pendiente’ reached number five on the US Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart a couple of months after it was released.
The song is described as one of Martin’s most personal tracks and has strong connections to Puerto Rico and memories of San Juan, where he grew up.
The ReVivo EP sees Martin revisit three decades of fan favourites that have solidified his status as an acclaimed musician, giving them a nostalgic yet fresh twist.
