Madonna shares Charli XCX ‘Danceteria Afterhours’ snippet and cover art

Madonna has shared the cover art and a snippet of her Charli XCX collaboration, ‘Danceteria Afterhours’, which was announced last week.
The upcoming track is a new version of ‘Danceteria’, from Madonna’s recent No. 1 album, Confessions II.
The track was first announced via Madonna’s social media channels, with a video of her and Charli dancing separately to the new song alongside flashing graphics.

Madonna captioned the video: “Let’s take it to the East side baby……” followed by the release date: 24 September 2026.
She has now updated fans with a pre-save link on her Instagram Story, alongside the official ‘Danceteria Afterhours’ cover art.
The single is also available to purchase on CD via Madonna’s official website, with the physical copy available in three different colours: purple, white and black.
When did Madonna and Charli XCX first spark collab rumours?
The pair sparked collaboration rumours after they played a snippet of a song at a Paris Fashion Week afterparty in June.
After they were seated next to each other at the Saint Laurent Spring 2027 menswear show, alongside Connor Storrie and Kate Moss, guests were invited to Madonna’s Club Confessions afterparty.
Fans in attendance took to social media after a new snippet was played featuring the lyrics: “Charli… Ma-Ma-Madonna”, with both of their names projected onto a big screen.
The collaboration follows Madonna’s recent ‘Love Sensation (Afterhours Mix)’ with Kylie Minogue.
