Gay porn entertainment giant Falcon | NakedSword is producing its own book business, mirroring Heated Rivalry‘s blend of sport and lust through three new imprints.
The adult film company is moving from film into erotic fiction through Falcon Books, NakedSword Books and Raging Stallion Books, drawing inspiration from previous and new adult works.
So far, FalconINK has debuted two novellas: Hard Ball by Riley Parks, a gay baseball romance, and Wild Game: Open Season, a prequel to the NakedSword gay adult film Wild Game.
What is Hard Ball and Wild Game: Open Season about?
Hard Ball follows Mateo Ruiz, a minor league baseball player who falls for his rival, Chase Whitaker. As the pair battle for a coveted place in the major leagues, their relationship evolves from enemies to lovers.
Meanwhile, Wild Game: Open Season centres on Derek Kage, a man whose married life is turned upside down when he meets construction worker Adrian. His attraction to Adrian raises questions about his identity, leading him on a journey of self-discovery.
Speaking to Variety, Falcon | NakedSword CEO Tim Valenti described the move as an “exciting venture” that honours more than five decades of adult entertainment.
Falcon | NakedSword books honour “storytelling and sexuality”
He said the book series represents “expanding beyond our traditional audience while staying true to the storytelling and sexuality”.
“For the first time, we’re also creating content for one of the largest audiences in the M/M romance space: women,” said Valenti.
Heated Rivalry is not just popular among gay men. HBO estimates that around half of the gay hockey series’ viewership is female.
Books turned into film
Falcon | NakedSword hopes to publish stories that could eventually be adapted for television, following the success of Heated Rivalry.
A launch party for the publishing house is set to take place at Book Soup in West Hollywood on 29 August 2026.
