Little monsters, unite! Lady Gaga’s new concert film Gaga Chromatica Ball is to drop on various platforms globally on 25 May – although the specifics of its UK release are yet to be revealed.

The film follows the ‘Rain On Me’ singer in an era of post-pandemic pop perfection as she performs in front of a sold-out crowd of 52,000 people at Los Angeles’s Dodger Stadium.

The critically-acclaimed, 22-date 2022 tour, which was delayed for two years because of Covid-19, was in support of her 2020 album Chromatica.

Sharing the news, a rep for Warner Bros. Discovery, HBO’s parent company, said the film’s UK, Italy, Germany, India, and Japan release is “to be announced.” Patience is a virtue, people!

The film’s longline promises ‘huge show-stopping moments and intimate piano numbers, complete with heart-stopping choreography, intense pyrotechnics and an array of iconic outfit changes as only Gaga does.’

“I spent countless hours in the editing room” – Lady Gaga

In an Instagram post, Gaga told fans: “I spent countless hours in the editing room bringing my vision for this film to life.

“It is my gift to you – directed, produced and created by me, alongside some of the most talented, creative people in the world.”

The film will be available to watch simultaneously on Max in Latin America and the Caribbean, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on HBO Max in The Netherlands and Poland, on HBO GO in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, on Crave in Canada, on Pass Warner in France, on Stan in Australia, and on ThreeNow and Three in New Zealand.

Nina Rosenstein, EVP, HBO Programming, Late Night & Specials, said in a statement: “Lady Gaga is a complete powerhouse. She’s a once-in-a-lifetime artist who never holds back, and Gaga Chromatica Ball puts her endless list of talents on full display.

“We’re thrilled to partner with her once again for this breathtaking concert special.”
