Zayn Malik drops the video clip for ‘Pillowtalk’ and it’s out of this world

By Troy Nankervis

He’s been teasing us for months with hints and rumours, but true to his word, Zayn Malik has just released ‘Pillowtalk’, the debut single to his forthcoming solo album Mind of Mine, due out in March.

The extremely sexy clip sees the 23-year-old star get up close on camera with model Gigi Hadid, with the R&B style a stark departure from his former roots in One Direction.

“Climb on board, we’ll go slow and high tempo, light and dark, hold me hard and mellow,” he sings.

“I’m seeing the pain, seeing the pleasure, nobody but you, ‘body but me, ‘body but us, bodies together.”

Directed by Bouha Kazmi, the filmmaker who was behind Jay Z’s ‘Onto The Next One’, the video teases with Malik and Hadid leaning in to kiss, before they really go for it.

Malik told The Sunday Times the first single was about something “so pure, so dirty and raw,” adding, “Everybody has sex and it’s something people want to hear about.”

With the link to the film clip already retweeted some 120,000 times, Malik, said he had been feeling the “crazy love today”.
