Zachary Quinto joins new season of HBO’s ‘Girls’

Zachary Quinto is to appear in the upcoming season of Girls, HBO has announced.
The out gay American Horror Story actor has signed up for at least one episode of the show’s fourth season next year – but HBO has yet to give away further details about his role.
Girls has previously featured cameos from the likes of Richard E Grant, IT Crowd actor Chris O’Dowd and Patrick Wilson.
The acclaimed HBO comedy, which stars Lena Dunham and Allison Williams, was renewed for a fourth season back in January.
All of the main cast are returning for the upcoming season, which is set to debut in January 2015.
