WWE pro wrestler Finn Balor praised for LGBT inclusion
The event saw the debut of WWE's first lesbian wrestler

WWE wrestler Finn Balor has been praised for promoting a message of LGBT inclusion.
The Irish wrestler – whose real name is Fergal Devitt – entered the ring at Wrestlemania Sunday in New Orleans surrounded by members of the LGBT+ community donning his rainbow-coloured T-shirts.
After the event – which also saw the debut of out lesbian wrestler Sonya Deville – Balor tweeted: “Imagine all the people living in peace… BalorClub fOreVERyone [sic]”

Part of the proceeds from the sale of his rainbow shirt will be given to the LGBT charity GLAAD – which fights for positive images of the community in the media.

Now, openly bisexual pro wrestler Anthony Bowens, has praised Balor and said how “glad” he was that it was done at the biggest show of the year.
He told OutSports.com: “I’m glad Finn decided to use that platform and Wrestlemania – the biggest show of the year – to express his support for the community and the solidarity of everyone in general.
“He is trying to convey a message of equality and acceptance no matter what your race, sexuality, religion, etc.”
Deville – who is WWE’s first lesbian wrestler – also took to Twitter to reveal she is supporting her community while wearing rainbow gear and rainbow braids.
She said: “I’m wearing rainbow gear, a rainbow robe and I got rainbow braids in my hair.
“Tonight, LGBT community, I’m representing y’all [sic]”
