Will Young to release Summer Covers EP next month

By Fabio Crispim

Will Young’s been busy lately.

Not only is he looking for love on Tinder but he’s set to release new music next month.

According to Digital Spy, the former Pop Idol winner has recorded a collection of tracks with his band at Dean Street Studios for his new EP ‘Summer Covers’.

He said, “I really wanted to record some of my many covers I have done over the years, especially following a jazz residency at the 606 Club a few years ago.”

“I had an amazing experience in the studio with an incredible bunch of musicians, recording these tracks live to create this EP. These are just a few songs that say and do something to me, and I hope they do for others too.”

‘Amy’, the first track from the EP, is available now.

‘Summer Covers’ will be released on August 26 following a month of shows across the UK.
