Wentworth Miller cast as Captain Cold in ‘Arrow’ spin-off

Wentworth Miller has been cast as DC comic book character Captain Cold in the upcoming Arrow spin-off, The Flash.
Set to debut on US network The CW in September, The Flash centres on a socially awkward police forensic investigator called Barry Allen, who will be played by Grant Gustin.
After being struck by lightning in a freak accident, Allen awakes from a coma with super-speed, becoming ‘The Flash’.
Miller will guest star as super-villain Captain Cold, the leader of a criminal group known as ‘the Rogues’ and an enemy of The Flash, in episode four of the show’s upcoming first season, according to the The Hollywood Reporter.

The Flash premieres on October 7 on The CW. At present, it has yet to be picked up by a UK broadcaster. Watch the trailer for the show below.
