Watch trailer for Laverne Cox’s new transgender documentary

The first trailer for Laverne Cox’s forthcoming transgender-themed documentary has been unveiled.
Titled Laverne Cox Presents: The T Word, the one-hour documentary will focus on the lives of four transgender youths aged between 14 and 24, who hail from various locations in the US.
“This is a celebration of our differences, as well as how we’re the same,” says Cox in the trailer. “We will follow young trans people from the moment of realisation to dating, family and the often dangerous obstacles they have faced on the path to self discovery.”
Laverne Cox Presents: The T Word will premiere on US cable networks MTV and LogoTV on October 17. Watch the trailer below:
