London-based playwright Alexis Gregory is set to perform his moving and powerful show Riot Act to honour the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots.
The one-man show based on three fascinating and hilarious long interviews that Gregory conducted tells the story of a man who experienced the night of the Stonewall Riots first-hand when he was on a gay night out aged just 17, another with a radical 1970s drag queen who toured Europe in the face of widespread homophobic abuse, and a third interview with a 1980s Aids activist who used to organise publicity stunts.

Written and performed by Alexis Gregory and directed by Rikki Beadle MBE, the show will play at London’s Arcola Theatre on Sunday June 16, Sunday June 23 and Sunday June 30.
