Watch RuPaul’s Drag Race star propose to boyfriend during ‘Battle of the Seasons’
Congratulations are in order after RuPaul’s Drag Race star Phi Phi O’Hara proposed to her boyfriend live on stage during the television show’s Battle of the Seasons Tour.
Phi Phi – real name Jaremi Carey – was surrounded by fellow drag queens and judge Michelle Visage as he got down on one knee out of drag, on stage in New York City at the Playstation Theater last night (May 25).
During the proposal, Phi Phi said to his partner Michael: “I’ve spent four and a half years knowing everyday your kisses, your smile, your touch was everything I needed to complete me.
“I knew from that moment that my forever was standing in front of me. So I figured why the fuck wait? So I’m saying let’s make forever official. Michael, will you marry me?”
The crowd erupted in cheers after Michael said yes and the couple kissed on stage.
