Smallville star Tom Welling pokes fun at himself after accidentally posting nude photo

Tom Welling accidentally shared a nude photo of himself while snapping the New York City skyline.
The Smallville actor uploaded the image to his Instagram Stories on Friday (9 October), ahead of his appearance at New York Comic Con (NYCC). The post was captioned, “Hello NYCC.”
However, the photo also captured Welling’s naked reflection in the window of his hotel room.

The image was later deleted, but not before followers had spotted the reflection and shared screenshots online. According to reports, it remained on his Instagram Stories for around 10 hours.

“Just looking after my boy @tomwelling” – Michael Rosenbaum recreating the image
He also re-shared a joke from his former co-star Michael Rosenbaum, who recreated the hotel-window photograph while wearing boxers and holding a sign reading “Perverts” over his lower body.
Rosenbaum captioned it: “Just looking after my boy @tomwelling.” Welling shared the post to his own Instagram Stories.
Welling was in New York to attend a reunion with his former Smallville co-stars, marking 25 years since the superhero drama first aired.
The actor joined Michael Rosenbaum, Kristin Kreuk and Erica Durance at the convention on Saturday (10 October) for a panel titled The Road to Superman: 25 Years of Smallville.
What was Smallville about?
The series premiered in 2001 and followed Clark Kent’s life before he became Superman. Welling played the character throughout its 10-season run, which concluded in 2011.
Welling returned to the role in 2019 for Crisis on Infinite Earths.
