One of the biggest nights in the pop industry calendar, the American Music Awards (AMAs) were took place in Los Angeles last night, and they certainly didn’t disappoint on the star power front.
Taylor Swift (who else?) was the night’s big winner, taking home three prizes including Album of the Year and Song of the Year for ‘Blank Space’, while Nicki Minaj scooped two for Favourite Rap/Hip-Hop artist and album.
Obviously though, the highlight was getting to see the stars wheel out their very best performances of all our favourite tracks from the last year – and there was a brilliant, generation-hopping line-up on offer, as the likes of J-Lo, Gwen Stefani and Alanis Morrissette proved their mettle against young Disney upstarts like Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato.
