Watch Madonna discuss BRITs fall in first Jonathan Ross interview clip

By Ryan Love

Madonna dismisses accusations that that fall at the BRITs was a publicity stunt, in the first clip from her upcoming interview with Jonathan Ross.

The Queen of Pop joined the chatshow host earlier this week to record a special episode, which will include performances of ‘Living for Love’ and future single, ‘Ghosttown’.

Ross pointed out that some critics had suggested that the shock incident had been planned as a PR stunt, highlighting the coincidental lyrics.

“I’m never writing lyrics like that again!” she responded. “The universe was trying to teach me a lesson I guess.”

Of her injuries, Madonna explained: “I didn’t hurt my butt, I hurt my head. I did. I know how to fall, I’ve fallen off my horse many times and I tucked and I have good core strength… but the thing is, I had a little bit of a whiplash and I smacked the back of my head so there was a man standing over me with a flashlight until about 3am making sure that I was still compos mentis.”

The special episode of The Jonathan Ross Show will air on ITV on March 14th.
