Watch: Jennifer Lopez debuts rumoured new single at Vegas nightclub

By Shaun Kitchener

Jennifer Lopez debuted what is thought to be her new single at an iHeartRadio afterparty in Las Vegas last night (September 19). And it’s not exactly a subtle ballad.

The actress, singer and talent show judge let crowds at the Chateau Nightclub enjoy Breaking Me Down, thought by blogs including Ultimate Music to be the lead cut from her upcoming album.

Whether or not it’s the main radio version or a remix is not clear, but whatever the case it certainly sounds like an almighty thunderbanger – getting us very excited for whatever else she might have up her sleeve. Because let’s be honest, last year’s A.K.A. wasn’t exactly a classic.

The star was previously thought to be working on a Spanish-language collection and also a Christmas record, so it’s not known right now what her immediate plans for new music are – but she is signed-up to star in Shades Of Blue, a 13-part TV series set to air at some point in the 2016-17 season.

She’ll also be behind the judges’ desk for the final season of American Idol, due to hit the small screen in early 2016, at around the same time her Las Vegas residency kicks off at Planet Hollywood. Yesterday it was announced that show’s title is All I Have.
