Watch Idina Menzel take on Bette Midler’s ‘Wind Beneath My Wings’

Broadway legend turned Disney princess Idina Menzel previously admitted taking on Bette Midler’s role in classic ’80s film Beaches could amount to ‘career suicide’ – but judging from her spectacular rendition of Wind Beneath My Wings, neither Idina or the film’s diehard fans have anything to worry about.
The Frozen and Wicked star shared a video of her singing the iconic ballad to Twitter early this morning (December 16), proving that she’s more than capable of matching Bette Midler’s cast-iron pipes.
