Watch Gaga cover jazz standard ‘I’ve Got a Crush on You’
By Josh Haggis
Lady Gaga covered the Gershwin Brothers’ jazz standard I’ve Got a Crush on You during a show in Canada on Saturday night (July 5).
The singer was performing in Ottawa on her ‘ArtRave: The Artpop Ball’ tour when she surprised the crowd with a rendition of the classic song, which has previously been recorded by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Dinah Washington and Ella Fitzgerald.
“What I’ve been wanting to tell you is that, Canada, I’ve got a crush on you,” said Gaga, before launching into her rendition of the much-loved song.
Gaga is set to release a long-delayed duets album with jazz legend Tony Bennett later this year, titled Cheek to Cheek.
Earlier this month (July) it was reported that Gaga was planning a duet with an even more unlikely collaborator – click here to find out more.
