FX has released a brand new trailer for Pose.
Ryan Murphy’s brand new show is set to make history by featuring the largest cast of transgender actors in series regular roles as well as the largest LGBTQ cast for a scripted series, and it looks amazing.
The show, set in 1980s New York, looks at ball culture in New York City and examines the juxtaposition of several segments of life and society in New York City along with the rise of Donald Trump and the downtown social and literary scene.
A brand new trailer gives fans a first glimpse at the glamorous balls as well as colourful dance numbers. The clip also features a look at actors Evan Peters and Kate Mara as New York couple Stan and Patty.
Pose will also star James Van Derk Beek as a Wall Street financer and trans actors MJ Rodriguez, Indya Moore, Dominique Jackson, Hailie Sahar and Angelica Ross.
The show will premiere on Sunday, June 3 in the US on FX. There’s been no news of a UK air date.
