Victoria Beckham to auction off clothes for HIV mothers

Victoria Beckham has announced that she will auction off 600 pieces of clothing to raise money for mothers living with HIV.
Proceeds raised from the private online sale will go to others2mothers (m2m), which works to prevent the transmission of the disease from mothers to babies in nine countries.
The dress worn by the Spice Girl to the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards is just one of the items to be put up for sale, alongside a variety of evening gowns, hats, shoes, bags and jewellery.
Beckham said she was inspired to raise money to help combat the HIV crisis after meeting mothers affected by the disease in South Africa earlier this year.
Speaking about her experience, she said: “It really was a life-changing experience. I’ve never experienced anything like it.”
Online fashion store The Outnet will host the auction between August 20 and 25.
