Pixie Lott and Amelia Lily have joined the Manchester Pride Big Weekend lineup, organisers have confirmed.

Nasty singer Pixie Lott is the latest headline act to be confirmed for the event, following fellow bill-toppers All Saints, Anastacia and Conchita Wurst.

X Factor singer Amelia Lily, who recently unveiled her comeback track California, will also perform over the course of the weekend, as will early noughties R&B band Big Brovaz and their dance duo splinter group Booty Luv.

Speaking to attitude.co.uk earlier this month (July), Lily revealed that her new album would showcase a “whole new sound” for her – click here to find out more.

Already confirmed as part of the lineup are Braveheart girlband Neon Jungle, rising pop star Foxes, former X Factor contestant Misha B and Grammy-nominated artist-producer MNEK.

It was also confirmed earlier this week (July 29) that Imelda Staunton and the cast of new movie Pride will appear at Manchester Pride Fringe and march in the parade.

Manchester Pride’s Big Weekend takes place over the summer bank holiday (August 22-25). Tickets for Manchester Pride’s Big Weekend are available now on 0843 208 1844. Weekend tickets are priced at £22, while day tickets are also on sale starting at £12.50.

The free parade is due to set off at 1pm on Saturday August 23 and will run from Liverpool Road to the end of Whitworth Street – right by Manchester’s gay village.
