‘True Blood’ star: ‘A lot of actors have their abs airbrushed’

Joe Manganiello has thrown shade at his fellow actors, suggesting that many of them rely on airbrushing to look good in pictures.

The True Blood actor is rarely seen on the show with a shirt on, and is known for his well-built figure and sculpted abs, which he also flaunted in Magic Mike

However, the 37-year-old insisted that he is an exception to the rule because he doesn’t need Photoshop to look ripped.

“A lot of the actors who are on the cover of lifestyle magazines look like they’ve had their waistline airbrushed,” he told Men’s Health.

“I see them and I think, ‘That guy doesn’t work out, I know that guy and he smokes two packs of cigarettes a day and is a complete drunk on weekends.”

He added: “It’s absurd to me. I’m athletic and I’m healthy. I’m like a unicorn in the world of actors.”
