Transgender art collective slay in video tribute to Beyoncé’s Lemonade – WATCH

By Will Stroude

Beyoncé’s last album drop, complete with a HBO special screening and accompanying world tour, made it pretty clear that the legend in the making is determined to achieve world domination.

Devoted fans have draped themselves in merchandise, camped out to get the best spots in her sold out world tour, and taken to YouTube to profess their devotion to the 20 times GRAMMY award-winning singer, actor and businesswoman.

But not many people manage to deliver a tribute to the queen quite like Glass Wing Group, an art and performance group comprised solely of trans artists who have released their version of Beyoncé’s latest visual album, Lemonade.

The video, which brings together highlights from the four-time Emmy-nominated album, is called Lemonade Served Bitter Sweet, and stars trans performer Miss Shalae as Queen Bey herself, and was shot by director Q Burdette.

According to Out, the collective shot the 12 minute video in just 16 hours.
