Tom Daley’s ITV show ‘Splash!’ to be axed?

Series two only drew to a close on Saturday (February 15), but reports are already circulating that Splash! is to be axed by ITV.
The celebrity diving contest featuring Tom Daley (pictured right) has been attracting audiences of around 3.5 million viewers throughout its second run – a drop of about 2 million from its first series.
Series two of Splash! aired during primetime on Saturday nights against strong competition from BBC One’s The Voice.
However, a representative for Splash! has told the press: “No decisions have been made as yet on future series.”
Diversity dancer Perri Kiely emerged victorious in the final of Splash! on Saturday, with Attitude cover star Dan Osborne coming in fourth.
