Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black celebrate three year anniversary with cute new pics

Ah, how time flies. Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black have been sharing cute pictures to mark the third anniversary of their relationship, which in that time has become one of the UK’s most high-profile same-sex relationships.

Tom shared a picture of the pair on horseback in Dustin’s native California on Twitter to mark the event, while his fiancé posted a selfie of the pair on his official Facebook page. Both posts were accompanied by the words ‘three years’ and contained an array of adorable/vomit-inducing (delete as appropriate) heart emojis.

After meeting at a party in LA in early 2013, Daley first mentioned his relationship with Hollywood screenwriter Black back in December 2013, as part in a YouTube video in which he also spoke about his sexuality for the first time.

The couple – who were recently involved in some public awkwardness with Sam Smith after Dustin told the singer to “stop texting” his fiancé (supposedly in jest) – shacked up together in London near Tom’s Olympic Park training ground soon after, before getting engaged in October last year.

They have since said they only plan on turning their attention to wedding planning after Daley has finished competing at the Rio Olympics this summer.

Having already described the pair’s engagement as a “dream come true,” Dustin, who is also noted for as a gay rights activism in the US, continued to wax lyrical about his future husband during a podcast interview last year.

“I met someone who completely gets me, [who] thinks some of my faults are completely funny – and gets annoyed with others! I feel the same about him,” the 41-year-old said.

“I definitely know that we’re better for having each other. We dream bigger. Things seem so much more possible together. Two and a half years in and it still feels like every day is a dream. And we want something bigger than just ourselves. That’s one of the reasons why I fought for marriage.”
