This German TV advert has a moving gay twist

By Fabio Crispim

This heart-warming German advert may just leave something in your eye.

The video was released by Deutsche Bahn (DB), Germany’s state-owned rail company, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary of their high-speed and long-distance InterCity Express (ICE) trains.

Naturally, as the European Championships are coming up what better way to promote their new birthday campaign than with a football theme advert?

According to Gay Star News, the advert was released yesterday (June 1) and German tabloid BLID have described the advert as “taboo-breaking”.

The video features one man who is seen travelling across the country to support his football team and one player in particular.
