The Wanted’s Max George: ‘I’d be up for being in a soap’

The Wanted star Max George has revealed that he is eyeing a role in a British soap.
The singer is currently starring in in the final series of Glee, which is now airing in both the UK and US.
Speaking to The Sun, Max confirmed that he is seeking a role closer to home.
“I do miss my family though and I’m still auditioning for roles in the UK,” he said. “I’d be up for being in a soap, definitely. I’ve always been a big fan of them and I won’t have to perform an American accent.
“I’m really happy out here and Glee was one of my first auditions.”
He added: “To get that and be hanging around people such as Jane Lynch and Matthew Morrison has been the best experience for me.”
He took part in ITV’s new series Bear Grylls: Mission Survive, but became the first celebrity eliminated, but not before he had stripped down to his underwear for a wash.
