Sweden’s ‘Euphoria’ Eurovision winner comes out as bisexual

By Fabio Crispim

Sweden’s Eurovision entrant Loreen broke records with her song, ‘Euphoria’ in 2012. She was awarded 372 points, coming out on top and winning Eurovision for Sweden.

Since then, Loreen has released her debut album, Heal, and has hit headlines this week for coming out as bisexual, Gay Star News reports.

Speaking to television host Renée Nyberg, Loreen explains how she’s fallen in love with human beings in general, regardless of gender.

“Many people are so focused sex, on sexuality. Love is so much more,” she said.

“I usually say, ‘Love is where you find it.'”

When asked if she was bisexual, Loreen replied by saying, “quite simply.”

The singer is busy working on her second album, Paperlight, and claims she’s “married” to her musical career.

She doesn’t seem to be lonely however, as the singer assured Nyberg that she has a “functional sex life.”

“It’s important to have,” Loreen adds.

Paperlight is set for an early 2017 release and the singer is hoping to represent Sweden once again for 2017’s Eurovision Song Contest, so watch this space!
