Sneak Preview: Sheridan Smith is Cilla Black in ITV biopic

ITV has released the first official pictures of Sheridan Smith in character as Cilla Black.
The actress is playing the iconic singer and television presenter in the three-part series, Cilla, from Jeff Pope.
The biopic focuses on Black’s rise to fame in 1960s Liverpool, as well as her romance with husband Bobby, who is played The White Queen’s Aneurin Barnard.
On playing Cilla, Smith said: “I’m really honoured, and just hope I do her story justice.”
The actress added that she is “thrilled to be back at ITV for such an exciting project”.
