Sinitta is eliminated from ‘The Jump’

By Nick Levine

The Jump

Sinitta has become the latest celebrity to be eliminated from The Jump.

On Channel 4’s winter sports contest tonight (January 29), the four remaining female celebrities competed in the Giant Slalom. Former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt finished in the fastest time ahead of TV presenters Laura Hamilton (second) and Anthea Turner (third), while Sinitta trailed in fourth.

Sinitta then went head to head with Anthea Turner in the live jump, but could only manage a leap of 9.5m to Turner’s 11m, ending her stint on the competition.

Looking back on her time on the show, Sinitta said that she had “loved it” and felt “emotional” as she watched a montage of her training footage.

The Jump continues tomorrow night at 8pm with eight competitors remaining: Wyatt, Hamilton, Turner, Sir Steve Redgrave, Ritchie Neville, Donal McIntyre, Marcus Brigstocke and Joe McElderry, who joined The Jump last night (January 28) as a late replacement for the injured Henry Conway.

Sinitta can take solace in the fact that she will now be able to devote even more time to her Attitude.co.uk agony aunt column, Ask Sinitta. Click here to find out how you can seek advice from Sinitta.
