Seattle Pride ‘breaks record for largest Drag stage show’

Seattle Pride has marked its 40th anniversary by attempting to break the world record for the largest Drag stage show.
42 drag queens, and one drag king, took to the stage at the city’s Neighbors nightclub, for the special event, which was supported by RuPaul’s Drag Race star BenDeLaCreme, NewNowNext reports.
Although the record has yet to ratified by Guinness World Records, it does appear that the attempt was successful.
Adam McRoberts, Seattle Pride spokesperson, commented: “Seattle has so many reasons to celebrate Pride this year, and we’re thrilled that we get to break a Guinness World Record in recognition of our 40th anniversary.
“We know Seattle has one of the biggest and best drag-queen communities in the country, so bringing everyone together for this historic event just made perfect sense.”
Last week, drag supergroup DWV confirmed that they are splitting up after two years together – read more here.
