Although not much is known about the plot of the series, we know that it will follow Michael Langdon – the child of Tate Langdon (Evan Peters) and Vivien (Britton) – who was last seen as a child child covered in the blood of his babysitter while under the care of his grandmother Constance Langdon (Jessica Lange) who adopted the demonic child at the end of season one Murder House.

It’s been confirmed that Jessica Lange will be returning, alongside Sarah Paulson, Taissa Farmiga, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy, Gabourey Sidibe, Stevie Nicks, Kathy Bates and Cheyenne Jackson. Meanwhile, Cody Fern, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Adina Porter and Dame Joan Collins will also be appearing in the upcoming season.

American Horror Story: Apocalypse premieres on September 12 on FX in the US.
