‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ renewed for season 13 and All Stars 6

There's three things in life that's certain: Death, taxes, and new 'Drag Race'.

2020 may have been a year of uncertainty, but one thing that’s set to remain reassuringly constant will be the presence of RuPaul’s Drag Race in our lives.

With season 12’s Jaida Essense Hall (who appears on the cover of the Attitude September issue) and All Stars 5’s Shea Couleé polishing their new crowns, the time will soon come to add more budding drag superstars to the Hall of Fame.

Yep, in news that should shock no one given Drag Race’s continued status as a cultural behemoth, VH1 has officially renewed the series for season 13 and All Stars 6.

Plus, Untucked will be coming back to give fans even more backstage drama.

With Canada’s Drag Race currently airing, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season 2 incoming and now Drag Race Holland added the franchise, that’s a lotta drag to enjoy.

“Drag queens have been on the frontlines of many challenging times in our history,” said the show’s Emmy-winning host RuPaul in a statement.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race 13, All-Stars 6, and new seasons of Untucked will offer more opportunities for our queens to rise to the occasion and spread the love.”

Despite the good news, the announcement comes tinged with sadness: Drag Race fans and stars are currently mourning the loss of one of their own, Chi Chi Devayne, who has passed away at the age of 34. Click here to read more.
