Race car legend Hurley Haywood opens up about his sexuality in a new documentary.

Hurley, now 70, is one of America’s greatest race car drivers and won multiple events including five overall victories at the Rolex 24 at Daytona, three at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and two at the 12 Hours of Sebring.

The driver became a household name and due to his good looks, he was once sponsored by Penthouse magazine and was often seen surrounded by beautiful models.

However, Hurley was hiding a big secret that could have had an impact on his successful career and in his autobiography, ‘Hurley: From The Beginning’ – released last year – he revealed he is gay.

And now, in a new documentary, he publicly opens up about his sexuality and in the trailer, he says: “It’s time to be vocal about it…I just didn’t want to lie about it anymore.

“This is this first time I’ve talked about to anyone publicly. It’s not easy to talk about it.”

Hurley will be released on video-on-demand on March 26.
