Philip Seymour Hoffman died of an accidental overdose

Philip Seymour Hoffman died of an accidental overdose, a post-mortem report has confirmed.
The New York medical examiner reported that the Capote actor heroin, cocaine, amphetamines and benzodiazepine in his system prior to his death.
Hoffman died in his New York City apartment on February 2, at the age of 46.
The actor entered rehab in May 2013 after many years sober, and spoke openly about his struggle with addiction in interviews.
He won an Oscar for his performance in 2005′s Capote, a biopic of iconic gay writer Truman Capote.
The acting world have paid tribute to Hoffman in the wake of his death, with Cate Blanchett recently dedicating her Best Actress Bafta to him.
