Pablo Hernandez guesses meaning of LGBTQ slang terms including ‘cottaging’ and ‘bona’

OnlyFans creator Pablo Hernandez isn’t quite sure if he counts as an ‘Otter’ or not and thinks the gay version of Webster’s Dictionary needs to be revisited.

The model has a go at guessing LGBTQ words and phrases as he takes part in Attitude’s LGBTQ Slang challenge.

Presented with the word ‘Ace’ Pablo wonders if it refers to “a hottie,” guessing, “Like, maybe like, he’s a ten, right?”

He initially asks if ‘Celesbian’ means a “lesbian who is very into, I don’t know, the stars and astrology, like, celestial?” When he’s given the hint that Ellen DeGeneres is one of these he shadily guesses: “A not very nice lesbian?” before being told it refers to a famous lesbian.

We tried out his Polari with the term ‘Bona’, which means something is good.

Pablo asks if it’s pronounced ‘bona’ or bon-er’ and if it’s the latter it would in the context of: “Oh, no, I think I’ve got a bona.” We won’t deduct marks for his British accent here.

“I feel like that’s a sex thing,” says Pablo to the word ‘cottaging’.

He’s on the money with ‘basket shopping’ and ‘meat and two veg’ before he comes up against the term ‘Otter’, which refers to a slim but hairy gay man.

“An otter would be, like, not like a bear, right? Because bears are, like, big and burly and hairy and like and wolf at you sometimes. An otter would be like a maybe like a younger gay that is in line to become a bear?”

After being given the definition he asks: “Would I be an otter? I feel like maybe I’m an otter…” before adding: “I feel like we need to, we need to revisit the the gay version of Webster’s Dictionary.”

Aside from Pablo, those putting themselves in the hot seat are pop icons Steps, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie star Max Harwood, Olympic diver Tom Daley, and comedian, Tom Allen.
