Osbourne: ‘No one can replace Joan on ‘Fashion Police’

E! Brand Shoot - 2013

Kelly Osbourne has insisted that nobody can replace the late Joan Rivers on  Fashion Police.

The weekly show, which saw Rivers and her co-hosts Giuliana Rancic, George Kotsiopoulos and Osbourne judging celebrity styling triumphs and tragedies, premiered in 2010 and has gone on to become a major success for E!.

The US cable network announced earlier this month (September) that the show will return in time for the Golden Globe Awards next January, but it has yet to be confirmed whether Rivers’ seat will be filled by another pundit. Read E!’s full statement here.

According to recent reports, comedian Kathy Griffin – a close friend of Rivers – is being lined up to take Rivers’ place on the panel when it returns. Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes is also said to be in the running for Rivers’ job.

Kelly Osbourne tweeted yesterday (September 31) confirming that the show will return in January, but also insisted that “no one can replace” the sharp-tongued comedian. Check out her tweet below.

Rivers passed away on September 4 at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York after reportedly suffering a cardiac arrest during throat surgery several days earlier. She was 81.
