MNEK’s new gay anthem with Hailee Steinfeld has been released and we cannot get enough of it

The new single from the gay singer is from his upcoming debut album

MNEK has released a new song ‘Colour’ with Hailee Steinfeld from his upcoming debut album.

The 23-year-old singer/musician – who is openly gay – was signed to a record deal when he was just 14 and his latest single is destined to be this summer’s number one.

His new hypersexual single is undoubtedly going to be an anthem for the LGBT community as it includes lyrics like, ‘Before you came into my life everything was black and white and now all I see is colour like a rainbow in the sky so tell me your love with never fade coz I don’t want another you bring to my life.’

The list of people MNEK – whose real name is Uzoechi Osisioma “Uzo” Emenike – has written and produced for along the way is hard to quantify and includes the likes of Beyoncé, Dua Lipa, Little Mix, Madonna, Diplo, MØ, Rudimental, Julia Michaels and Stormzy to name but a few.

This summer he will play a series of live shows, including his own headline show of London’s prestigious Wilton Music Hall on June 19 which is already completely sold out.  Before then he will perform at the Mighty Hoopla in South London, and Parklife in Manchester at the start of June.
