Iceland look set for a fierce competition after their Eurovision Song Contest entry was announced.

As the only Nordic country so far to not have won the annual singing competition, the country has revealed their entry for this year, a techno punk band called Hatari, and they are something else.

Formed in 2015, Hatari consists of three members, Klemens Nikulásson Hannigan, Matthías Tryggvi Haraldsson and Einar Hrafn Stefánsson, and they are a BDSM-loving group who beat five other performers winning their place in the competition.

The band have released a fair few singles in the past but are set to perform Hatrid Mun Sigra in Israel where Eurovision will be held this year.
