Former TOWIE star Mark Wright is rumoured to be appearing on the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing.

BBC bosses are eager to book Wright for the ballroom contest, The Sun reports, after he proved popular on the 2011 series of I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! on ITV.

The latest Strictly Come Dancing rumours follow reports last month (June) that another former Attitude cover star, Thom Evans, is being lined up to appear on the series.

The rugby star-turned-model is said to have been approached to appear this year after reportedly turning down a spot on the long-running dance contest last year. Read the full story here.

Other celebrities tipped to appear on the new series include former Coronation Street and EastEnders actress Michelle Collins, Andy Murray’s mother Judy Murray, TV presenter Caroline Flack, and Frankie Sandford from The Saturdays. The next series of Strictly Come Dancing will air on BBC One this Autumn.
