Madonna has officially kicked off a brand new era with the release of comeback single ‘Medellín’ with Colombian singer Maluma.

The Latin-infused track is the first track to be lifted from the Queen of Pop’s 14th studio album Madame X, which is expected to be released on June 14.

Following the release of her last album, 2015’s Rebel Heart, Madonna has been working on new material in Lisbon, Portugal, where it seems the legendary singer has fully embraced the culture of Latin music.

Speaking of the album Madonna said: “Lisbon is where my record was born. I found my tribe there and a magical world of incredible musicians that reinforced my belief that music across the world is truly all connected and is the soul of the universe.”

Madge’s return to the musical spotlight comes ahead of her recently-announced performance at the Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv next month, where she’s expected to perform material from Madame X to a global audience of almost 200 million viewers.
