Made in Chelsea’s Ollie Locke comes out as gay

By Will Stroude

Made in Chelsea

star Ollie Locke has come out as gay.

The 29-year-old star, who previously came out as bisexual on the E4 reality series back in 2011, revealed that he now identifies as gay after breaking up with girlfriend Catherine Louise Radford.

Speaking to The Sun about the new series of Made in Chelsea, which is set in Cannes, Ollie revealed: “It’s the first time the viewers have seen me as gay instead of bi. I do say the words ‘I am a gay man’.”

“I lived with a woman last year when I was off camera and we had two dogs together. Then when we broke up in December, I thought, ‘That’s it now, I think I’m now gay’.”

Ollie, who departed Made in Chelsea in 2013 before returning last year, has previously dated Sir Phillip Green’s daughter Chloe, as well as fellow cast members Gabriella Ellis and Ashley James.

Revealing that he’s officially on the lookout for a man, he added: “I want to experience my first gay relationship. Whether that’s on or off camera, I don’t mind. But I want to have one. I’m ready.”

During his stint on Celebrity Big Brother back in 2014, Ollie admitted that that despite identifying as bisexual, he had never had sex with a man before.

“I’ve always had girlfriends. I’ve seen two guys in my life… I’ve generally always had girlfriends,” he told fellow housemates at the time.

“I’ve never slept with a guy. This is the first time I’ve ever said it on television, but it’s done. I’ve never slept with a guy in my life. I think everyone kind of assumes that I have.”
