Lucifer has been renewed for a fifth and final season.
Fans of the hit show – which was cancelled but then renewed by Netflix last year – were left wondering whether the show, which stars former Attitude cover star Tom Ellis as the titular character, would return to our screens for another season.
Now, Netflix has confirmed the show will be making one last outing for a fifth and final season and quite frankly, if Tom Ellis drops his clothes as much in the next season, we will be happy.
Taking to Instagram, the actor was the first to lead the celebrations and said: “Well it’s been one Hell of a journey (pun intended) but thanks to our wonderful fans and the success of season 4 @Netflix has decided to give us a final season so we can finish our story properly…🙏🏽😈 #lucifer @lucifernetflix #luciferseason5”
